About Us
Speke’s Camp is a family-run safari camp, established in 2010. It is an unfenced, traditional camp with a strong emphasis on authenticity and a down-to-earth approach to safari. At Speke’s, you’ll enjoy a personal and immersive experience. All structures are made of canvas and tastefully furnished with traditional fabrics, and local artefacts.
The communal areas feature a curated selection of books on local wildlife, Kenyan history and culture. Mismatched sofas, wooden furniture, and Persian rugs create a warm, rustic atmosphere. A separate tent, fitted with lamu-style seating and chairs, offers Wi-Fi access for those who wish to stay connected.
