We have a low Carbon footprint, operating through large solar systems. The camp set up is designed to be eco friendly and reduce waste.

About Us
Speke’s Camp is a family run business. It was established in 2010. Speke’s is an unfenced traditional safari camp with a focus on authenticity rather than plush luxury. At Spekes you will have a unique personalised experience. Structures are all made of canvas and furnished with driftwood wood, animal bones, African fabrics and ethnic trinkets.
The communal areas have plenty of books on local wildlife, Kenyan history and local cultures. Mismatched sofas, wooden furniture and persian rugs add to a very warm rustic feel. A separate tent, strewn with Zanzibari-style beds, armchairs and sofas, provides Wi-Fi access.
When you stay at Speke’s it really feels like one of the last traditional Safari camps left in the Maasai Mara.
